ANKST MUSIK are proud to announce the imminent arrival of a special Summer gift – a seven inch vinyl split single featuring two of the most exciting new bands we’ve seen and heard in years – KLAUS KINSKI and THE DOGBONES. Both the songs on the single are in the Welsh language – KLAUS KINSKI offer us a blistering cover of the DATBLYGU classic ‘Gwlad Ar Fy Nghefn’ ( Land On My Back) while THE DOGBONES treat us to a Welsh version of one of the highlights from their soon to be released debut album (already out in Japan and Europe pop fans ! )- Mae Dy Ffrindia i Gyd Am Dy Lladd Di ( All your friends (are going to kill you)) .

The idea of singing in their native language came solely from the bands who felt a need to express themselves in the ‘Language of Heaven’ ( although ANKST MUSIK, having long given up on Welsh language culture, doesn’t believe even the injection of these two fantastically exciting young bands could reasonably be expected to kick back into life a scene that has long dried out and chosen irrelevance as its main defining characteristic.)
In recognition of this fact the single is being released a week AFTER the humoungous Welshfest that is the National Eisteddfod ( in honour of DATBLYGU’s original marketing wheeze back in ’88 when they dropped their debut album WYAU days after the Welsh audience had gone home !

Klaus Kinski from Llanfairfechan and now based in Manchester and Dogbones exiled from Holyhead to Camden, London are both busy creating vibrant scenes far from Wales centred around their extraordinary music, live performances and social networking skills…….Both bands will come together to play live to launch the record into the world ………KLAUS KINSKI’s debut album ‘Skellington Horse’ will follow on ANKST MUSIK in September …..you have been warned !
